My father is upset with me because I decided to stay in New York until the 17th. I’m supposed to be returning to Florida today with my sister and younger brother.
I really don’t understand what his problem is. His main “concern” is who will watch my sister and brother… My brother will be at a summer camp all day anyway during the week, and my sister is 15. She is more than capable of taking care of herself, I don’t need to watch her anymore. Also, my brother will be here until the end of August so again, me staying until the 17th of this month isn’t much of a big issue.
As I said, he’s upset and talking crap to my mother telling her that I should just move up here for good. I guess he feels I’m being selfish even though I see my brother pretty often during the year anyway (I always watch him too, always). Oh and I don’t see my other younger brother who lives up here as often anyway, so that’s another reason I want to stay a little longer since this is most likely the last time I’ll be able to visit New York for a while.
Him being angry with me is just silly, but he’s always been temperamental. He gets over it at least. Watch, he’ll see that my sister will be perfectly fine on her own during the week.
